I am a retired nurse and descendant of a furniture artisan, Maximilian Ferdinand Rosinski. His creativity and love of the material he so beautifully polished and constructed are part of my inspiration.
My studio is growing in size gradually in my home. The space is shared with my wonderful English Springer Spaniel companion, Izzy. He reminds me occasionally that it is time to give him as much attention as my jewelry. Since he is quite deaf, it is only when I'm hammering or forging metal that he arouses or when the smoke alarm goes off while soldering because I forgot to turn on the ventilating fan.
My techniques are numerous because of the surprises that abound. Gorgeous cabochons also call for settings that accentuate their colorful and sensual nature. Most of my designs can be worn with casual or professional attire, but there are also those eye catching signature pieces too. All of which are "Becoming To You".
I have studied with artists at the Delaplaine Arts Center in Frederick MD and at The SilverWorks Studio in Glen Echo, MD. and am a juried member of the Northern Virginia Handcrafters Guild.
