I am a retired nurse and descendant of a furniture artisan, Maximilian Ferdinand Rosinski. His love of working with wood and turning it into art, I today feel, in moving and changing metal into wearable art. In addition to creating new things, my grandfather was a great recycler. Today I am trying to follow in his footsteps and am using escutcheons and other antique hardware in some of my jewelry. It gives me great satisfaction to see metal transform into items that are a pleasure to wear and admire.
